Who is Lauren ?

Diamonds by Lauren is named after my daughter, Lauren. We operate out of offices above 47th street, in the New York City diamond district. We're a small, efficient company. My name is David. I am the founder and president of the company and you will either deal with me, David, my brother Marc, or one of our hand-picked, extensively trained sales associates.

How can we sell diamonds at the prices we do?

Because we keep overhead very low. Diamonds, after all, do not take up much space. I also spent enough years in the diamond business to build relationships with good diamond cutters who sell directly to me. So you're not paying for a fancy showroom with chandeliers, lots of people in suits, nor are you paying for a middle man.

It's our attention to quality in every aspect that brings people back

I'm incredibly picky when it comes to our diamonds and the jewelry they live in. If the jewelry is not perfect, it ain't going out. That means we remake a ring if it's not up to snuff.

Why am I qualified to sell diamonds?

I was trained by some of the world's most prestigious diamond companies where I sat grading diamonds 8 hours a day for 3 years. I spent the next 15 years on the road as a diamond salesman. In 1998, I opened this company and in 2004, my brother Marc joined the company.

Every person who buys from us gets superstar treatment.

We make sure you're totally satisfied or issue a refund. We own the diamonds we sell which is why we're able to take pictures of them. And our pictures are of the actual diamonds or jewelry we have made or sold. I'm the photographer, too. If you talk to me, I will not "hard sell" you a diamond nor will I hold your pet hostage until you buy. Because trust is a big part of the process and I want you to have that before you buy a diamond on the Internet.

You might wonder "Who the heck?" spends thousands of dollars on a ring they saw on the internet? All I can say is that they do and then they usually come back for more. The prices are very competitive and our product is equal or better in quality than you'll find at the finest jewelry stores.
