Here's a very cool pair of earrings.
The stones were reclaimed from an estate piece.
They are "modern" round brilliant cut. I say that because lately, diamonds are cut to a different set of proportions.
Smaller table and greater depth.
The result is a very nice looking stone.. but these new modern round brilliant diamonds lack a few things that the older stones enjoyed.
Spread is a big one - you'd probably need to go about .65cttw to get stones above 4.2mm
Then there's the scintillation - these stones really sparkle. I love 'em. They are colorless and very clean.
The pink gold we use is so durn rosy! It contrasts the icy white diamonds wonderfully.
Our guys did a wonderful job on the claw prongs.
