Here's a really cool find. The diamond is an antique stone - probably cut 100 years ago. GIA calls it Circular Brilliant- it looks kind of like an OEC. Large. chunky facets.
The fact it's a Q-R color is cool as heck. If we set her in yellow gold between two icy white sides, the color will be even more apparent face up.
My buddy, who found the stone, had a cutter clean it up. The stone looks brand new in terms of condition.
