In the "good old days"- the 1970s- when I was a young pup- the sweetest, best cut was known as 60/60.
Things have changed considerably since then, in the world of diamond cutting.
the best cut 60/60 diamonds had great spread. They were cut for maximum life- as opposed to max fire.
The difference is a sweet, splintery scintillation as compared to the hearts and arrows prevalent today.
So we got these from an estate and they are a sweet bargain too!
