1.00ct Y-Z VVS2 Round Brilliant Diamond

Here's a very cool stone- it was owned by my friend David Atlas - he's a renowned jewelry appraiser. One of the best. Like me, he's been in the diamond business for a 1000 years. OK, it's a bit less. Anyway, he's had this stone sitting around for many many years. It's lovely. I love it. Anyway, he sent it to us to ask what to do with it. So I says to him Dave, let's sell it on the site, and he says, sure why not.

The stone is beautifully cut, but it's not cut like a colorless modern RBC. It's a great example of why I've always loved some less tradtional cuts as well as more traditional ideal cut diamonds.

In terms of clarity, the stone looks very clean as well.
