Pink diamonds are hot. Pink diamond prices are stratospheric. We are always on the lookout for any "rosy" diamonds.

This one somehow slipped by GIA, who graded the color Y-Z Light Brown. Hey, nobody is perfect - even GIA.

No question the stone has brown as a component. I would have graded it Light Pinkish Brown, but of course it is not up to me.

The pictures show the SI1 clarity characteristics, but in person you cannot see them. Really nice cut, although it is a bit deep. There's no light performance penalty because of this.

There is amazing sparkle- and the color projects beautifully. The stone is a bit smaller than some one carat diamonds you'll see.

Then again, if you consider the price of pink diamonds, I think this is a great value.
