GIA determined that the primary color of this diamond was Green. They also found the color was affected by a "blueish" tint.
When I look at the diamond, it really looks more like a blue diamond under most lighting environments. In the two close up photos above - the last two of the diamond - taken in a light box with virtually no UV, you can see the green more easily.
However, in any sort of natural lighting, the stone is blue - and it's a very lively stone because the color is light.
The cut is also amazing. The numbers might be unorthodox, if you're comparing to the way colorless diamonds are generally cut, but man, do these numbers work, in this case. Like a large percentage of blue/green diamonds, this one has a "garden" of black carbon - yet it's dispersed in such a way that there's really no affect on the beauty or brilliance.
Hard to call something that cost this much "cheap" but it is a low price for a stone with this much blue color.
