We set this beauty into a classic tree stone ring in platinum, flanked by a pair of trilliants. The slight blue hue is slightly enhanced by the contrast to the white trills. It is slight.

The stones all sparkle even in low light.

The position and setting of all three diamonds are just perfect.

More details about the center stone

Here's a very cool stone. The story:

A grower we work with frequently comes up with a parcel of diamonds, which are slightly blue. In this case, the grower viewed it as a defect. The stone was grown HPHT, which can yield, D color Diamonds, with no post-growth treatment.

I was intrigued to say the least. A "Faint Blue" natural diamond can be worth tons. So I picked the nicest one to test it.

We submitted to IGI and sure enough, the stone is Faint Blue, no post growth treatment. The blue is faint for sure but it's there for sure too.

I graded the diamond I1 - IGI gave it SI2. The imperfection might be visible to some, but it's by no means overwhelming. The stone is nicely cut- coming in at 2.6 on HCA_ Excellent spread for the weight.
