Here is a sweet looking natural light yellow pear shaped diamond. The pear is beautifully cut - it's an Excellent example of a "Pear Modified Brilliant", as categorized by GIA. The reason it's called "Modified" has to do with the bottom of the diamond. The cutter places a series of extra facets there to bounce the light around. This helps broadcast that lovely yellow color.

These extra facets create a lot of sparkle. It looks like it has 1 million facets. There is no bowtie whatsoever. The shape of the stone is beautifully organic, like a teardrop. The stone has good size for its carat weight. The VS two clarity is due to a tiny carbon Crystal, deep with in the diamond. There's no chance you'll be able to see it in person.

The color is a beautiful light lemon yellow. The fact that GIA graded this diamond W-X color is why you can buy it for such an attractive price. This would be a great Diamond for a ring, or a pendant.
