I love this style of ring! It has a great balance of delicate and yet durable for daily wear.

The design is such that it will allow for a standard wedding band to be worn flush next to it. This is a quality piece at a great value.

More details about the center stone

Here is a great looking princess cut diamond that we accepted in a trade in. In this case, the client had purchased this diamond with an IGI report calling it an SI2.

Speaking as a diamond grader with more 40 years experience with GIA, I can say there was a decent chance it might have gotten SI2. Of course it also might have gotten I1 - which in fact it did when we submitted it after having our cutter remove the IGI inscription.

If they had graded it SI2, the price would have gone up by about 40%. Call me a skeptic, but I always feel that someone in the diamond business possessing a stone like this, they either send it to GIA and take their lumps - or to another lab (EGL, etc) knowing they will get the SI grade.

It is great I1. Still worth less than the least expensive SI2 graded stone. Speaking of great I1, you can see what I'm talking about. In some of the pictures, the camera focuses directly on the center of the diamond, and you can make out the feather in the center.

In other pictures it simply blends in - and these are taken using a macro (close up) lens. In person it's highly unlikely you'll be able to spot them. I can't.

The stone is really white. Nicely cut for sparkle, and the stone has a lovely overall appearance. Thanks to it coming back as an I1, it's a really great price.
