Our Uber shop again knocks this one out of the park.

We did a "Bright Cut" pavé halo0 this means there's a smooth edge to the halo.

The pavé on the shank is our "Cut Down" - and beautifully done.

The 1.9mm shank looks so petite - the ring perfectly suits the diamond, because it was made specifically for the stone.

More details about the center stone

Here's a Fancy Yellow Pear Shape in a desirable carat and a half size. It's a nice, pure lemon yellow - Fancy Yellow. Not quite intense, but more Intense than light yellow.

Cut is so important in all diamonds. Assessing cut on Fancy Colored Diamonds really requires physical inspection. Based on our low return rate, our pictures do a really good job of conveying the essence of the diamond. Still, we know you're going to have to inspect it yourself to make that final judgment.

The other reason behind the low return rate is our selectivity. When we purchase a diamond, we always do it in person - and we take a few days to make sure we love it in all lighting conditions. If it passes, we feature it on our site, and we've eliminated your need to look through 10,000 diamonds on a list. If there's any issue at all with the stone, we'll tell you about it.

For example, the SI1 clarity. In some cases, the GIA SI1 grade is based on an imperfection you can easily see. The reasons GIA graded this diamond SI1 consist of a tiny VS1 sized crystal deep within the diamond. Then, an internal feather, also tiny, and out of the way, on the bottom. Result totally eye clean diamond.

The reason I love the cut is evident in the photos. This is a lovely organic teardrop. The 1.48:1 ratio is ever so slightly on the pudgy side, as opposed to overly tall- but still totally in proportion. I selected the stone because it has great brilliance emanating from the entire stone as it moves and the light plays inside. The stone is cut in a way that eliminates any sort of "bow tie" from the stone.

The SI1 clarity saves you about 15% on this one, over a VS - if it was cut this well. Also if GIA graded it None, or Faint florescence. This stone has none, which is another reason I selected it.
