We all know that SI2 diamonds can pose a problem.....I mean, we all know that if we're using the internet as a means of gemological education. The truth is that the only way to effectively learn about clarity grading is hands-on.
This is an example of how an SI2 can be eye clean.
There's a small "garden" deep within the stone.
I can see it with a loupe- and even in the video close up sections.
But in person, you can't see it.
In fact, the visuals of this diamond are exceptional from a number of standpoints
1) Color- this stone is a strong intense yellow- close to vivid- and the color is bright.
2) Cut- perfect, even sparkle. Nice size for the weight- and lovely rectangular profile.
The moment we saw the stone we gasped- it's that nice. When you consider that this diamond is going for about 40% less than a comparable SI1, it makes that SI2 aspect a lot easier to grasp.
Halo or three stone ring this Canary Diamond will rock.
