Green diamonds are remarkably rare. This one, in particular, is spectacular from a number of standpoints.
The color is sublime.
A light shade of green.
In the lightbox I put a little "LB" in the lightbox pics), the stone looks green. The reason is that the bright UV lights in the lightbox have a very small amount of UV, and VV.
In dimmer natural lighting, say on a cloudy day, or away from the window but still in range of daylight, it still shows some blue. The color is a light blue, most closely reminds me of the color of the Caribbean (see picture above)
It's hard to photograph this effect - the youtube video shows it best.
The cut is also spectacular! It's a radiant, with a tall rectangular profile. I love the corners. The sparkle of this stone is amazing - that's the part that really works with this color.
I know, it's not exactly a "cheap" diamond. Greens are super rare, so this is actually a "reasonably priced" green.
Imagine it with a pink diamond halo.....
