Brown diamonds offer such amazing values.
Yes, there's a tint- although it's never a bother to my eye. In fact, the many different subtones add an element of beauty. I do detect a tiny bit of blush sometimes.
You get the sparkle and fire of a well cut round brilliant diamond.
We get these directly from the cutter. The diamond was cut in India.
Not many in this color and size are cut this well. It spreads pretty much like a colorless diamond- and many round brown diamonds are deeper- and have less spread than colorless.
I graded the diamond SI2 (there's no GIA)- it's a borderline I1, and normally I like to err on the side of caution- but this stone really looks great. The imperfections are widely dispersed.
As I mentioned up top - we got an amazing price on this one.
