I love SI1's......more accurately, I love certain SI's, including this SI1. In this case, the grade is due to a whole mess of ridiculously teeny feathers. I'm speaking close to microscopic.

They are extremely hard to see with a 10x loupe. If you have this stone appraised and don't give the appraiser the GIA, they'l likely call it Fancy Light Yellow VS2.

That's the other thing- it's a very strong W-X light yellow. Sweet color.

Then there's the cut, again, a big plus here.

The stone has great size for a 2.02ct. I love the model- the overall shape.

The make is also very nice. The cutter used this piece of rough artistically- the facets on the bottom giving us a light show of sparkle and glitter.

Oh, before I forget, the greatest thing about this SI1 business is that you save about a grand over a VS2.
