2.27ct Blue Cushion Cut Sapphire and Diamond Halo Ring

Here is a stunning blue cushion cut sapphire. The sparkle on this stone is absolutely amazing! The color is vibrant ad pure. The shape is a beautiful pillowy cushion - just perfect for a ring or a pendant.

We have long-term connections with some of the largest and most important importers and cutters natural sapphires. The selection of stones is huge. For this reason, it's common for us to look through many stones to select the few that we really love.

Below, you see a parcel of emerald colored blue sapphires. 12 stones that way 11.01 carats.

When I take them out of the bag we can see them better.

In this shot, taken at random, (I did not arrange the stones) - you can see one stone is totally standing out. It's standing up in the back row. The color is noticeably richer than the others.

Now, some of the others may be nice as well, you can't tell looking at this picture - many of them or face down in the picture. However it's possible that only the one stone that's standing out in the picture will tickle our fancy. It's also possible that when I exam at it more closely, we might reject as well.

We have been shopping for some beautiful pure blue stones for the site. They need to have a rich blue color. They need to be clean - without noticeable imperfection or color banding. They need to be very brilliant and lively – and reasonably priced. For this reason, we offer heated sapphires.
