Not to question GIA - the stone is a J color when viewed through the pavilion (bottom of the diamond).
However, looking into the table, the stone looks colorless - always.
Maybe it's partially due to the luscious shape with large corners, promoting awesome light performance. I knew I loved the stone from the first second I saw it.
The diamond is totally eye clean.
The thing I really love about J color? If it was a D you'd be looking at more than double the price.
