Green is a very tough color to see in diamonds - once it is in the ring, even more difficult - this is due to the subtle nature of the hue.

THIS ring does one of the most remarkable jobs I have seen to bring out the natural green color.

We used Fancy Pinks for the halo. The overall effect is stunning.

The design fits the stone perfectly as well - you have to love an East-West ring featuring a marquise like this.

There are so many things that are incredibly attractive about this diamond. It is remarkably bright for Marquis – of any color.

Of course, one thing you notice right away, along with the brightness, is its color. You can notice the green.

Green is a subtle color in diamonds, mind you. That makes this all the more a rare and noteworthy diamond.

The cut is beautiful. Although it is cut like a traditional Marquise brilliant, the "bowtie effect" is practically nil… for whatever reason this contributes to the brightness.

The photos and video give you a good idea. The diamond comes from an estate – that is the reason for the GIA half-report.

It is a very clean diamond.
