This is an incredibly rare pair of pink diamonds. Its widely known that the Argyle Mine, in Australia is running dry. There really is something special about the color of pink stones from this mine. It's really hard to put a replacement value on this type of thing - but I have not seen another pair like this. Both with the argyle inscription. Both Fancy Light Pink - a lofty grade. Yet a grade that puts them in the reach of mere (non billionaire type) mortals.

It's true they're both a bit imperfect - but that does not dampen the overall lovely nature of the stones. And I'll bet you're going to be surprised when you see which is the SI2 and which is the I2.

Let's start with the I2, it's shown in the three photos below

I was actually very surprised when I checked - as the SI2 in some ways seems more imperfect than the I2. But it just goes to show you that clarity grading is a very difficult aspect to get a handle on.

The SI2 is shown below.

Look at it this way - if they were both VS1, the pair would be double or triple the price. They look very nice in real life - which is also important.
