Brown Round Brilliant Diamond
Brown Diamonds
Many brown diamonds have imperfections. Without a scientific study, this is just my market experience - but I would say that as an average, a higher percentage of the brown diamonds on the market are rather imperfect. One of the special aspects of this diamond is its stellar clarity. It is a very clean diamond. It is also an extremely well cut diamond.
Bear in mind that well cut in a brown diamond is different than a colorless stone. Generally, brown diamonds need a bit of extra depth as compared to a colorless. This usually manifests itself as a smaller appearance face up. In this case, the diamond is slightly smaller in diameter as compared to an Ideal Cut round brilliant diamond.
Average size for a colored 'Ideal Cut' round brilliant stone of this size is about 6.75mm, and this stone is 6.49mm. This is a very small visual difference.
But you DO get amazing sparkle - even in low light conditions the stone uses the available light and transforms it into a sparkle just for your eyes. You don't even need to plug it in.
The photos are great for illustrating color. It is very important to stress the fact that at its very best, a photo conveys an accurate representative of an exact moment in time. Like people, diamonds take on different colors at different exact moments in time
In the three photos below, you can see my skin - which acts as a certain barometer. The first photo, taken in office lighting - fluorescent- high over head lights, taken at night - no natural lighting. The bottom three are taken on a light box- wonderful illumination.
In the bottom three photos, my skin looks a lot rosier - as does the diamond. Both of these appearances are "true" at that given point in time.
Dim lighting above, brighter lighting below.
Medium White Fluorescence
This type of Fluorescence is extremely common in diamonds of this color - you can see it well below, as compared to an E color diamond, graded by GIA to have NO Fluorescence.
In terms of brown diamonds, this one is exceptional. It's not the cheapest 1.15ct Brown Diamond we could offer - but it is an exceptional stone.
The Ring
Here is our patented "Brown Gold."
Okay, it is not patented, but it is also not common - and it is very cool. The result is a ring that really emphasizes the orangey aspect of this remarkable round brilliant.
I love the way the shank feels - it is so smooth. Matching wedding bands are available. Either as a straight tubular band or fitted around the engagement ring.
If you like the ring in these photos, you will love it in person - we guarantee it!
The photos above are ACTUAL Photos of the diamond ring you will receive.
