How to make a gorgeous pair of 4ct studs -101

1) Become friends with a diamond cutter who will let you pick from large parcels of diamonds so that you can easily find stones that compliment each other.

Dealing with some of the world's largest cutters has allowed us to have access to in incredibly wide array of polished diamonds.

2) Study the cut of diamonds so that you can pick nice pairs- the art of judging a diamond based on it's cut is not so much technical as it is about having an eye for proportions.

I picked these two diamonds by eye- the measurements are so close , we can call them identical. I deliberately wanted to find stones in the less expensive "silver cape" parcel. This means K-L color. They are literally half the price of G color.

When K-L colors are cut right- as these are- these stones can look amazing
