Here is a truly unique ring that totally represents our style.

We start with a pair of Intense Yellow princess Cuts - very strong color, close to vivid.

We got them at a very good price, due to the fact they are SI2. I love them because the imperfections are not a bother at all - they blend into the stones as opposed to sticking out.

It was easier finding the matching colorless stones. We used very high colored diamonds.

A project like this won't work nearly as well with light yellow princess cuts. The reason is the lovely Common Prong design. In this case done masterfully using hand forged claw prongs.

Our guys did an amazing job of placing bits of 18kt among the platinum 950 to get a subtle two tone effect on the metal. Each yellow diamond gets one set of yellow prongs.

The natural disparity between the colors means we don;t have to worry about surrounding the yellows in yellow gold so much.

The ring is beautifully finished - it feels great to the touch.
