ITEM #R2600

Here's a beautiful pair of princess cut diamond earrings.

In diamonds, color makes a huge difference in the price.

The reason this is NOT a $10,000 pair of earrings is the ever so slight tint these diamonds possess. It's not obvious at all. In fact, you'd need to compare the two pairs to see any difference- if you were not a "maven".

These ultra-close-up photos allow you to see more detail than you could with your un-aided eyes....

Can you see the color?

The color, and price, are why we've not sent these diamonds to GIA. IN general, people know if they are extremely sensitive to a diamond's color.
Still, common advice given in many jewelry stores might be "Don't consider anything lower than G color".

Which is kind of like the cat telling the canary- "Don't bother flying away, that's a waste of energy"

Seriously, I think sellers who give such advice are doing a disservice to a fair to large percentage of their potential clients.

If you must have E color, and you don't mind spending the $10k, by all means, GO FOR IT!

But if you're much more comfortable around $7k, and you like the way these look- GO FOR IT!

Look at the video, and I think you get a better idea of how they look in real life.

The diamonds possess a characteristic known as "Fluorescence"- this means they light up blue under ultra violet lighting. Since a lot of ambient light contains UV , it lends a hand to making these look quite colorless.

The earrings are substantial, and well set.

We prefer friction backs on the earrings.  We use a nice heavy "nut". That's the part that clasps the earring from the back. These are very durable, and secure.

It's easy to feel when the back loosens up. If you put them on and take them off a lot, any nut, either screw back, or friction- is going to loosen up.

With a friction back, if you feel it getting loose, you can simply squeeze the nut back together.

If you prefer screw backs, we will change them free of charge.
