1.01ct Fancy Light Brown Yellow I1 Round Brilliant Diamond
Another day, another kewl parcel of brown round diamonds passed through our hands - we snapped up this one. I love picking stones, and this one is special because it is not all that dark. The strong blue fluorescence, in this case, adds a suggestion of rosiness at times. The cut is so very nice for a color like this - it produces a lot of bright sparkles.
I graded the diamond, we will be glad to send it to GIA on your behalf if you want to purchase it - the cost is $159 for a GIA Fancy Color report. I graded it I1, which you may wonder why, based on the pictures.
It is a "perfect" imperfection. It's situated in a place near the edge where it hides perfectly. It just blends in. I will admit when I purchased it, I missed the imperfection. Based on the price, it is not a big deal at all.
What is a big deal is the very cool personality of this reasonably priced gem. That makes it a lot nicer than a VVS with less personality and charm.
