Here is a truly well cut Cushion diamond. In stones of this color, it is generally acceptable for them to be a bit on the deep side - this can really help a brown diamond project color.

That's not the case here. This stone is well cut, and in a manner more like a colorless diamond. It is not deep and the girdle is not very thick. There is a nice crown and a small table, I estimate it to be right around 60%. The surface area - visual size, or spread - is impressive for a diamond of this color.

Oh, the color - wow it is nice. The lovely cut flashes a lot of larger facets in a manner that would be a white reflection in a white diamond. In this diamond the bright flashes show off the orangey, coppery brown color. Eye clean SI1 clarity.
