1.36ct S-T, Light Brown SI1 Asscher Cut Diamond Ring
There are so many cool aspects to this diamond. GIA classified it as an "Octagonal Step Cut" diamond. It is a true "stop sign" shape - that's rare - and in this case, enthralling, from a visual standpoint.
The stone "glitters" dramatically. Large facets flashing on and off in rapid succession. Triggered by small movements of the hand. It also looks large for its weight.
However probably more remarkable is the ever so slight peachy nature of this light brown diamond. Not sufficiently rosy for GIA to use the "P" word describing the color, but I can see it. I notice it in a few of the photos and sometimes in real life.
The SI1 clarity is comprised of a number of VS sized imperfections- so the stone is totally eye clean.

The Ring
We set the stone in la lovely warm rose gold setting.
We used natural Fancy Pink diamonds in the shank. They really add a beautiful touch to this lovely ring.
