There are certain diamonds the cutter cuts with a specific goal in mind, such as "Ideal Light Performance" and other stones he cuts for beauty alone.

This is the second type.

I love it because it has all the charm of an old diamond, and none of the damage that the majority typically show. It is also extraordinarily well cut - something you won't find in an old stone. Older diamonds will never achieve EX/VG from GIA.

In some of the shots, taken in a light box, this J color looks mighty yellow.

However, in natural lighting you don't notice the tint all that much.
