.62ct J SI1 Cushion Cut Split Shank Diamond Halo Ring
We are really lucky in that we get to see a lot of new and different cuts all the time. I was very excited when the cutter brought over a batch of cushion diamonds, in the sizes and colors that we like to buy.
The stones are really will cut. They have small tables, and beautiful girdles.
This particular stone has amazing sparkle to it - a beautiful bucket of crushed ice.
The Ring
Here is a lovely example of our high quality, yet moderately priced micro pavé line. All the details you want to see are there. Top on the list, for many buyers, are the beautiful shaped claw prongs. And, you'll also get a ring that is beautifully finished, even on the inside surfaces. The curves of the Halo are graceful, and they follow the line of the diamond exactly. The beautiful split shank is actually two shanks, each of them tubular, perfectly mated.
We never scrimp on the diamonds we use. They are beautifully cut, and very high color. It might be natural to wonder if using such high color micro pavé stones will affect the J color center diamond. For me, the answer is I prefer to use the colorless diamonds in the micro pavé regardless. Can you see the difference between the J color and the colorless side stones? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. However, at no time does it seem to be bothersome to me. I don't expect the center cushion diamond to have the same type of sparkle as the halo diamonds. In essence, each of the colors set saw the other one beautifully. It is truly a dazzling ring. It is by no means the least expensive ring of its type on the market. We don't try to make "cheap" rings. That's why this ring looks much more like the most expensive ring of its type on the market
