How much will my new diamond appraise for? |
Here's a
great example of Natural Fancy Light Yellow Diamond. The color is clearly
visible- no matter which lighting you look at the diamond. At the same time,
it's a light yellow shade- as opposed to the Intense yellow, and vivid yellow
diamonds.
The stone is
beautifully cut. Here's why I say that:
1) The stone is incredibly lively-
from stem to stern- no dead areas whatsoever. When you look at it. there seems
to be a million tiny flashes of light. The video shows this.
2) I love the overall shape.
Square stone lovers have their reasons.
3) it's cut to give great color
broadcast- the cut actually makes the diamond look more yellow
4) And this is a very important
one- the stone looks like a 1.50ct. I had to double check it when I got it- it
looked that large for it's 1.12cts
The photo below allows us to see
the individual facets and the lovely patterns they make. In person, live, it's
not possible to see any individual facets- they are "obliterated by sparkle"
Like a bucket of crushed lemon ice.
VS1- totally eye clean. No
fluorescence. It's a great stone.
The stone is offered loose. We
have extensive experience setting yellow diamonds- the setting is extremely
important to the end result.
I can picture this stone looking
amazing in a 3 stone ring, flanked by smaller colorless cushions.
Or a halo ring
