How much will my new diamond appraise for? |
Years
ago, high color stones with Strong Blue Fluorescence commanded premiums over
inert stones ( those with no fl). Looking at the photos showing this stone
looking blue, it's easy to see why- it's a very cool characteristic. This is
an eye clean Si1 clarity. These super high resolution close up photos give
us the advantage of being able to see the small spots that caused GIA to
grade this stone SI1- however in real life, naked eye, it's totally
impossible to see any imperfection.
This
diamond was mined and cut in Russia. I love this cut- a bit short of a 2:1
ratio, it's slightly chubby- but not extreme. The cut minimizes any bow tie
effect.
It's going to look amazing
once it's
