Above is the actual movie of the center stone loose.
This stone is remarkably well cut. It has a lot of life and tons of sparkle to it. The color is amazing as well. It is a drop dead gorgeous intense lemony yellow. Not even a hint of orange in this stone.
There is a visible inclusion, however. It's actually a feather, that is simply unlucky in positioning. Feathers like this can be compared to a sheet of paper. If you hold it straight out in front of your face just right- it almost disappears- now rotate it 45degrees and it you're looking at a place to compose a letter.
Seeing as how well cut the stone is, I suspect that was the cutter's priority. The feather is wholly contained within the diamond, and poses no inherent durability concerns. The pictures do highlight the inclusion. In real life it is much harder to see with the naked eye.
The completed ring is really beautiful. It is a mix of lemon and honey. The colors compliment each other nicely yet each stands out on its own. It really is a cool combination together.
The setting itself is beautifully done. You can really see the difference in the pink and yellow gold holding the stones. Like the stones, the colors compliment each other yet stand out from each other. This is a solid yet comfortable setting that will last a lifetime.
