1.40ct O-P VS1 Cushion Cut Diamond

We recently accepted this stone back as a trade in. Our clients love it for obvious reasons, but I also love it because I'm a sentimental guy. I'm extremely humbled that so many people come back. In a strange way, a diamond can take me back in time
We originally purchased the diamond in March 2005. Almost 11 years ago as I write this. Here's the pictures we published of the stone at the time...
Our pictures have gotten much better, but it strikes me that we have not had to significantly change the way to do our business in the past 11 years - actually going on 18 years.
As soon as I looked at the stone when it was returned a few weeks back, I immediately remembered why I loved the stone in the first place. The cut is really nice. The stone has an even sparkle across the entire stone it's quite brilliant. In terms of clarity, the stone is very clean.
The color is faint yellow - once we set the stone it will definitely pick up a bit of yellow. It's never going to look like an Intense Yellow, but it could pick up a shade or two.
We originally sold the diamond without a GIA report. When it came back we sent it over to GIA for a Diamond Dossier, which includes Laser Inscription.
Based on the light yellow color, and trade up status, we're offering a special price.
