Here's a very lively "Sparkle" Cushion Diamond.

I love the cut of this diamond. There's a number of aspects I consider when judging a diamond's cut. First is liveliness to the eye. Does the stone sparkle? Then we consider the shape and general personality. This part is more subjective. Sometimes someone is looking for a square, sometimes a rectangle. Sometimes someone is looking for an old fashioned "chunky" cushion, others want a stone with a lot of sparkle.

This stone is a soft cornered rectangular stone as you can see. The camera captures an instant in time- so you can see the lovely facet work here in these photos. In person, there's nothing "chunky" about the amazing sparkle here. It's like a bucket of crushed ice.

Look inside and you can't see the bottom.

It's a very clean diamond, at VS1.

You'd need to have good eyes, and use a jewelers loupe- you'd still struggle trying to see the tiny speck..

Diamond Color Chart for Colorless and Near Colorless diamonds

A note about photographing diamonds:

The main goal we have is to most realistically represent the diamonds we are selling. In the case of Natural Fancy Colored Diamonds, they have different appearances based on the light source. You may notice that the diamond looks darker in some of the photos, and lighter in others. It is this way in real life as well. We choose the photos ( which are not retouched in any way for color) that most realistically represent the  lightest and darkest face of the diamond.

The Diamond is offered loose
