The loose Diamond

If you are shopping for a Yellow Diamond, a light yellow diamond may present a desirable alternative. If you can can find the right ones, you can buy beautiful diamonds at a fraction of the price of colorless, or deeper colored yellow diamonds

This is a great example. The stone is clearly yellow. You'd never confuse it with a white diamond.

This is an unusual "hybrid" cut.
Part Princess cut, part Radiant Cut. There's even a little bit'o'Cushion in the slightly bowed sides. GIA classified it as a "Modified Rectangular Brilliant"
In terms of cut quality, the stone is cut like a fancy intense yellow would have been cut. It looks large for it's weight and there's great sparkle - I love the cut.
It's got the "bucket of crushed lemonade ice" look in person.

The nature of the imperfections that caused GIA to grade the diamond I1clarity are all miniscule and impossible to see with the naked eye.

Clarity grading is cumulative. That is to say, if a diamond has a tiny crystal inside, GIA grades the diamond, say VS1. Say the diamond had three imperfections, in different parts of the diamond. GIA would grade that ( or this) diamond SI1. :

The color is a lovely light lemonade yellow.

all photos above are of the actual item we are offering.

If you look at GIA's color grading scale, it would seem there's a big difference between W-X, Y-Z, and the next grade down- Fancy Light Yellow.

In fact, the difference is incremental- very small. Looking at these photos- as in real life- you see a yellow diamond. Unmistakably yellow- light yellow, but YELLOW!

The ring is a custom made 18karat white and yellow gold ring

We chose colorless brilliant faceted trapezoids for this one. The stones total .83ct.

Together they present an impressive display

A note about photographing diamonds:

The main goal we have is to most realistically represent the diamonds we are selling. In the case of Natural Fancy Colored Diamonds, they have different appearances based on the light source. You may notice that the diamond looks darker in some of the photos, and lighter in others. It is this way in real life as well. We choose the photos ( which are not retouched in any way for color) that most realistically represent the  lightest and darkest face of the diamond.
