This is a
remarkable diamond- even though it's only .23cts.
GIA
classified it Natural Fancy Blue- no modifying colors. The color, in person,
is an almost indescribable hue. it varies in different lighting. In the shot
directly below it looks as dark as it possibly can IRL- indirect daylight.
The
GIA report is a "color origin" variety- so there's no clarity. If I had to
guess the clarity, which I suppose I do, after all they must pay me to do
something, I'd call it an SI2. There is a carbon spot which may even be
visible in some of these photos. In real life, it's eye clean.
The stone is really well cut, adding to it's beauty. It's a square, with nice
size for it's weight. It's a very nice depth for sparkle and size.
AS a good calibration, the
photo above is about as dark as I've seen the stone look in real life, the one
below is the lightest.
