A really vibrant princess cut- in a deep brown color. The stone kicks back a lot of bright sparkles. The color is earthy, and very interesting. It has ...moods. In some of the photos it looks like orange plays a strong role- in other photos it looks pure brown. True in real life too.

Although you can see the imperfections in these photos, I can not see them in normal room lighting. This is a case where the photos emphasize something much less apparent in real life.

Not a bad thing overall- I mean, we want people who buy diamonds which contain imperfections to get an idea what that means.

Bottom line here is that the imperfections if you could even make them out in person are minimal. The color is what you notice- and the size. We graded this diamond as I1 when we bought it.

I1's can be very well priced, another appealing aspect of this diamond. We calculated that this diamond was $1500 per carat less than an SI1 of the same cut and color. We made this offer- and after some back and forth, the cutter accepted.

That is why we can offer this diamond , in a custom made $3500 platinum ring for the price it is.

Many 3.50ct stones are $50k plus.

The Pave work here is exquisite. The diamonds are set in a manner which results in a totally square halo- at least it appears to have straight edges.

The rest of the ring flows in fluid lines. Bold arches for the trusses that support the halo- way above your finger.

This ring is a showpiece- not shy in any way.
