Remarkable. This term applies to many aspects of this 4.09ct Pear Diamond.

Let's start with the obvious- the size. It's HUGE. Then, also obvious, the color. Fancy Deep Brownish Yellow is what GIA called it, but words are so toothless in attempting to describe such a color......

It goes from yellow to orange, and brown is visible as well.

To me, it looks quite like a Vivid yellow, with a little brown. The freakin thing is bright yellow!

Remarkable in terms of cut as well. It's not cut like a colorless pear shape, no sireebob. "Bucket of Crushed Lemon Ice" is what I like to call the effect. It's dazzling. Try as you might it's really not possible for the eye to define the facets inside the diamond. This is in sharp contrast with diamonds that exhibit "Hearts and Arrows". On stones like that, the idea is to line everything up so you can see all the little facets.

Here's the facets are designed to grab all the light and bounce it around inside. It's like there's a million little light bulbs inside- even in dim lighting.

As a VS1 we can be sure it's eye clean- and indeed, it is.

The bottom line is also remarkable. It's hard to argue something of this value is inexpensive, however, a 4 carat vivid yellow could be about 4 times the price of this diamond.

Diamond Color Chart for Yellow diamonds

A note about photographing diamonds:

The main goal we have is to most realistically represent the diamonds we are selling. In the case of Natural Fancy Colored Diamonds, they have different appearances based on the light source. You may notice that the diamond looks darker in some of the photos, and lighter in others. It is this way in real life as well. We choose the photos ( which are not retouched in any way for color) that most realistically represent the  lightest and darkest face of the diamond

We can offer you a fully custom made ring to take full advantage of all this diamond's attributes

The diamond is offered loose

This stone will look awesome in a solitaire, a halo, or a three stone ring.

Our Semi Mount Store

We recommend buying your diamond and ring from the same seller.  There are many reasons for this.  For one thing, you have one company to be held responsible for the quality of your entire product.

We can sell our semi-mount rings at a substantially lower price than we could if semi-mount rings were our only business. Generally speaking, every time we sell a semi-mount, we are selling the diamond that is going in the center.  Therefore we can afford to offer a super high quality product at a far lower price could find from a company selling only semi mount rings.

Potential Ring Choices

Our rings are all "Made To Order". Some are fully custom made. Our less expensive rings are made from parts, selected with an extremely critical eye from commercial casting suppliers. Meticulous attention to detail, thoughtful design, experienced craftspeople - all contribute to the superb quality of the rings we produce. Let us make one just for you.
