Actual photos and Videos
of the Diamond we are offering. The video above shows this particular diamond,
and the one below shows the parcel containing
this diamond.
This is a
parcel that came about due to the recent economic downturn. A jewelry store had bought
a parcel of yellow, and orange diamonds from one of our main cutters.
Due to
problems in their business, they were forced to return some of the diamonds they
had purchased. The cutter does not like to accept returns- so made they would
only take back the choicest ones- those with the word "Orange" in the GIA color
grade. This stone, shown below in the parcel- is an amazing orange yellow color-
stunning in person
GIA graded the diamond
"Fancy Deep Orange Yellow". Deep- as compared to
Vivid- is a color with a deeper ( darker) hue. The primary color is
yellow- however Orange plays a strong second.
The GIA report is for color
only- we graded the diamond SI2 clarity. The small feather contained within
the diamond can be seen in some of the photos.
Sharper eyed viewers might
be able to see it in person- although the intensity of color makes it very
hard to notice, and they'd need very sharp eyes!
I love this type of organic
shaped cushion. The stone has amazing sparkle. It has good size for it's
weight.
As you can see in the
photos- this color is quite complex and shows different hues in different
lighting.

A note about photographing diamonds:
The main goal we have is to most
realistically represent the diamonds we are selling. In the case of Natural
Fancy Colored Diamonds, they have different appearances based on the light
source. You may notice that the diamond looks darker in some of the photos,
and lighter in others. It is this way in real life as well. We choose the
photos ( which are not retouched in any way for color) that most realistically
represent the lightest and darkest face of the diamond.
