Original GIA Report
ships with diamond. We also include our comprehensive appraisal for identification or insurance
purposes.
How much will my new diamond appraise for? |
One of our
company policies has to do with respecting those we do business with.
Both the people
we sell to- as well as those we buy from. That's why we still rely on some of
the same cutters we got to know many years back.
"Sam Spade" is a
fellow dealer. One we have relied on for many years.
He found this
stone, a "mistake", as it were. Normally, the very fine company the cut this
stone, would never send an I1 to GIA- especially not for a full report. Sam
knows we love I1's- he does as well. When he saw this one, he pounced on it
especially for us.
The main reason for the incredible
price is the I1 clarity. You can see the feathers in these photos- and the video
as well. In real life, not so much. The color and sparkle obliterate it.
The color, "Fancy Light Yellow" is
also quite leasing to the eye.
A soft yellow, yet totally
apparent. These photos give you the idea.
The stone is
beautifully cut. It's a pleasing rectangular shape. The stone is cut for
brilliance which is has in spades.
In terms of
perceived size- it looks as large as many carat and a quarter stones.
The sparkle is
amazing- especially considering the rich color.
We're set the
diamond into a lovely 14karat yellow gold Double Baguette ring. The rich yellow
color seems even stronger now.
The two
baguettes on each side team up to provide the look of larger side diamonds.
The yellow gold
works really well here
