6.60ct Asscher Cut Green Tourmaline Ring

This stone came from master gemstone cutter Roger Dery. This is a precision cut stone, cut by Roger. He is a cutter who sources much of the rough at the actual mines. This means we get accurate origin info as well as if a stone was treated or not. The stone is natural, and has not been treated in any way.

This is an stunning green tourmaline. It was purchased in Tanzania during the summer of 2009 from Congo material. This was cut from a rare large piece. The color on this stone is a lovely rich shade of green. The stone has amazing sparkle!

The Ring

Here is the story.

We were making an "Uber Flower" ring for a 3 and a half carat diamond. The stone was damaged in a freak accident.

That was 3 years ago. Since then, the ring sat here idle- till someone realized we could out the tourmaline in the ring

At this price, its well blow cost, but I figure it's better than having it sit around.....
