1.12ct Pink Emerald Cut Sapphire
I am a sucker for an emerald cut, and this one is a beautiful one. The stone is another extremely "happy" sapphire. I think she'll look amazing in either a halo, solitaire or three stone ring.
We try to give you the best idea possible of what the stone we are offering looks like. In fact, this is a prime consideration before we purchase any sapphire - or diamond.
Believe it or not, it's not a good thing if the diamond looks better in the photos than in real life. There are more cases of really nice colored stones in person, which I can't capture.
Here, we can see what looks like some sort of small opaque area at around 7:00 at the edge of the sapphire. In fact, I examined the stone quite closely - with the loupe and did not notice it. After looking at the photos I did find it with the loupe, however it did not stop me from loving the stone because in real life it's "happy" all the way through.
The stone has been heated, as is customary on many natural sapphires that are more reasonably priced

The Sapphire on the left is quite a nice one. Believe it or not, in this particular case, the Sapphire on the left had a higher price than the stone on the right- which is the stone I chose. It's making it's new owner very happy as you read this.
