1.21ct Fancy Intense Yellow SI1 Cushion Cut Diamond
When people are coming to us they're not looking for the lowest possible price. They're looking for something more. They want a better Diamond, and a better ring.
The way I look at it, it's my responsibility to give an honest assessment of the diamonds that we offer. I'm in a very good position to do that because the diamonds are here in front of me.
Take this stone. 1.21 cts, cushion cut. Gia graded fancy intense yellow SI1.
Pluses:
Absolutely stunning color. The stone is a beautiful brilliant bright yellow. Very close to vivid in terms of shade. Beautiful cut as well.
I'd go as far to say stunning in that department as well. The diamond has such remarkable life and sparkle throughout. Consistent sparkle from edge to edge. The fact that it is VG VG polish and symmetry, is a nice touch.
The only minus on this stone is the clarity. Gia graded the diamond SI1. It could have very easily gotten SI2. You might be able to pick out the tiny carbon spots in the photos. In real life, there's a few of them, and they are really tiny. Its really not possible to see them with the naked eye in person.
None the less they do affect the value of the diamond. When you are the buyer, that's a big benefit. If a stone had this color and this cut and it was a vs1, it could easily go for $2000 per carat more than this stone I like the value here a lot. I like to stone here a lot.
