1.32ct Fancy Vivid Yellow VS2 Round Brilliant Diamond

This is an exceptional stone by any standard. Of course the color is the main draw. Over the top pure canary Yellow. The amazing part of the color is that there is an element of orange you can pick out, but it does not dilute the yellow. I believe it is the nature of the rough and the remarkable job done by the cutter.

Of course the rough from which this stone was hewn had tremendous color, but the cutter was able to focus the color so it comes evenly through the top of the diamond. That is a huge accomplishment in a round brilliant diamond. It is not cut exactly the way you would cut a colorless round diamond, but a lot of the flashing bright light you expect to see in a colorless is there.

It is entirely eye clean. The two clarity characteristics are both minuscule. No fluorescence. A remarkable diamond.
