1.55cy U-V VVS2 Rectangular Princess Cut Diamond
We get presented with large parcels of diamonds, straight from the cutters after they finish them. I am extremely selective in these cases - we prefer to buy the best 10% of a parcel like this - which is how we got this gorgeous 1.55ct diamond. It is not in the photo below, but it was selected from a large parcel.
I love the way this diamond is cut- a cross between a princess and a cushion cut. You get the really nice type of sparkle you want in a fancy colored cushion- with an outline somewhat like a princess cut. Even then the sides are slightly bowed- really interesting. Stones like this set beautifully. Prong or bezel.
The beautiful buttery light lemon yellow color will just intensify once we set her.
In terms of clarity, wow, what a great stone at VVS2
