When selecting diamonds, I need to keep my eye on quite a few balls at the same time.
I need to look first, at the cut.
You can see for yourself, this is a sweet radiant - really well cut.
Without sparkle a diamond is... well, dull.
However it is more than sparkle - I look at how pleasant the shape is, and if the facet pattern provides an even sparkle.
I need to consider if the stone shows a good size for its weight.
This stone scored top marks.
Color - I love a soft yellow, as do many of our clients who tell us they prefer a lighter yellow to a darker stone, such as a fancy intense.
