1.71ct Fancy Light Yellow VS1 Cushion Cut Diamond Halo Ring

Here is a Fancy Light Yellow VS1 cushion diamond. On any given day we might be presented with between 5 and 50 new diamonds from cutters for our consideration.

Yesterday, when we got this one, we have another 10 diamonds here. We purchased 4, including this one. Main reason we purchased it?

I love the "make"- which means the way the diamond is cut. In this case, the overall shape is a lovely round cornered square- which looks lovely in a ring.

Impressive brilliance, with edge to edge sparkle. This particular diamond has a small table- and relatively generous crown height. Combine this with the fact that the diamond is not that deep overall - in this case, resulting in great brilliance with nice face up size.

The diamond is a VS1 clarity - totally eye clean. The color is at the stronger end of Fancy Light Yellow.

The Ring

Now that the diamond is set, the beauty has really come out. Looking at the stone in person, if you told me that it was fancy yellow, I wouldn't think twice or question that. And it is such a beautiful bright yellow. Very hard to capture in the photos, when you see the ring in person. It is just absolute sparkle.

The halo is perfectly done – the hand forged round shank feel so comfortable in the finger. Shaping of the upper Halo matches the diamond precisely. The struts holding up the Halo are works of art themselves. Gorgeously shaped.

When you buy this ring from us. We own it with you. We urge you never to let anyone touch the ring you purchase from us. It will void your warranty. As long as the ring is covered by the warranty, we will be taking care of it for you. Not to say that rings like this need constant work – but when they need work, having the person who made it ready and waiting to fix it for you is a big plus.
