This is a perfect example of how effective this cut is.
Q-R color. Yet the diamond looks quite yellow face up.
GIA methodology is to grade stones like this face down- indeed, this is likely most consistent- yet sometimes less realistic.
Lovely warm buttery tones reflecting around in the large facets...

The details are authentic - the main difference being the yellow gold elements - which would not have been on a ring made 120 years ago. I love the whole look and feeling of this ring. Double claw prongs - tulip like head.
