1.52cts Natural Brown "DBL"Branded Old Mine Brilliant Diamond Ring
Unusually, words fail me here, but here goes nothing.
The workmanship is unbelievable on this piece. The DBL Old Mine Brilliant Diamonds are seamlessly embedded in a sea of pave. The 198 round brilliant diamonds have been carefully selected for amazing color, clarity, and of course cut.
The layout makes the OMB's seem to be randomly placed - an amazing effect. The rich color of the OMB's won't let you take your eyes off them.
I cannot imagine how it will feel to wear this masterpiece... but one of you will!

The photos above are ACTUAL Photos of the diamond ring that you will receive.
The Old Mine Brilliant Diamonds
Here is the newest batch of Diamonds by Lauren Old Mine Brilliant Diamonds - at my request, to find some truly wild colors. The rough was purchased for us in a lot - meaning one price for all. Then the cutter did his magic. This means we have the privilege of putting our name on stones that are among the world’s finest cut - rivaling any old mine brilliant diamonds on the market today. It also means we need to polish away a lot more of the diamond than other well cut cushion, and radiant diamonds. We also gladly accept the fact that the labor to cut such stones is far more dear than even well cut radiant or cushions on the market.
The optical properties and overall cut are excellent - the stones have tremendous sparkle.
STONE #1:
.53ct Fancy Deep Brownish Greenish Yellow VVS1 "DBL"Branded Old Mine Brilliant D1iamond Ring

Since the rough was purchased for us, we have photos of the diamond in the rough, prior to cutting and polishing.

Color from the face is all over the place. Here it looks like a brown... but with a lot of green mixed in

But when the lighting is increased, I can see... other colors.

Notice, if you will, that the light performance of this diamond is the same type as stones cut to look colorless. There's less light bounces, so you can see the facet structure on the pavilion more clearly through the table - which results in the Maltese Cross if the diamond is perfectly cut.

STONE #2:
.53ct Fancy Deep Brown-Greenish Yellow SI1 "DBL"Branded Old Mine Brilliant Diamond

Since the rough was purchased for us, we have photos of the diamond in the rough, prior to cutting and polishing.

The rough picture shows amazing texture - and again, the rough is not giving us a great idea of the color of the polished stone within.
Below showing it's lovely proportions- as well as the remarkable zones of color.

But when the lighting is increased, I can see... other colors.

Stones like this will still be nice in low light situations, but in higher light situations, they will transform.

STONE #3:
.46ct Fancy Dark Brown-Greenish Yellow SI1 "DBL"Branded Old Mine Brilliant Diamond

Since the rough was purchased for us, we have photos of the diamond in the rough, prior to cutting and polishing.

This one seems to show the color relatively close from the rough to the polished.

This one showing more "pure" brown color - very lively in more bright lighting.
