We work in partnership with a number of excellent factories to make our product, including one which specializes in creating pieces that routinely cost over a million dollars. Incredible design and production techniques at our disposal. We've worked with this factory to find a way to allow us to offer their rings below their normal starting range. Generally, rings made at this factory are more ornate, and start at around $7k, for the semi mount alone.

To achieve these results, you need a combination of things. A highly skilled workforce is only the starting point. Specialized tools are required. The term "microset" is rarely used accurately. Below, you can see a few workbenches, in the immaculate workspace. Each is equipped with a microscope.

The methods used for welding involve working in as sterile an environment as possible- while focusing acutely on specific areas using a microscope.

This semi mount is offered in platinum. We can also offer it all or even just in part in 18Karat Yellow Gold for no extra charge. This ring is not available in White Gold. It is offered with either full cut diamond melee or single cut diamond melee. It's perfect- to the most minute level- wonderful to touch.

It's a rare of raw talent, phenomenal acumen, and the latest technology. I can honestly say that no jewelry work I've ever seen is better - and only a precious few ever come close to achieving this level of perfection.

STRUTS:
I love the way our guys tailor the shape, and size of the struts holding up the halo portion of the ring. Some are straight, others curved.

Now shown below with a 1.79 Fancy Light Yellow VVS2 Old Mine Brilliant diamond that was custom cut for Diamonds By Lauren. The diamond is set in Platinum with 18Karat Yellow Gold prongs.

This ring has 59 round single cut diamonds for a total weight of .37cts. Your total weight will vary based on the size and shape of the stone you pick.

Below you can see the single cuts - they have a lovely glitter. They have 17 facets as opposed to the 57 facets of the full cut diamond melee. They have a beautiful and distinct look to them. They are particularly suited for antique cut stones, but also look amazing with other types of cuts as well.

The reason our semi mounts are shown with the center diamonds set into them is simple. We do not keep semi mounts on the shelf. Virtually every ring we make is custom made. That's why the center stone will always fit properly with no gaps. That's why things will always be in proportion.

When looking at our three stone rings, you will notice that the level at which the three stones are set, with the girdles on the same plane. This is virtually impossible to achieve using semi mounts you see in a showcase- shown without a center diamond. Generally the center diamond is set on a "peg head". This type of setting allows a quick delivery – but it also means the center diamond will sit much higher than the side stones.
