The Diamond's Story

This is a major league yellow diamond. It's a beautiful cut- that's the very first thing I look at when considering a diamond for our inventory. I say the cut is amazing because the stone practically glows. It could pass for 3.50-4carats, and the shape is attractive.

In terms of sparkle- which is a product of great cut- this diamond excels. Wall to wall sparkle.

A huge difference between us and most of the people offering diamonds on the internet is that we own this diamond- as well as 90% of all the items we offer on the internet. That's why we can show you so many photos

This stone is VS2- It's quite clean. Again, the cut is the main thing I look at- and this diamond is a very well cut yellow diamond.

In terms of color: It's a strong Fancy Light Yellow- that is to say, it is close to a Fancy Yellow in shade.

Stones like this- beautiful desirable stones- are hard to come by. Especially diamonds over 3 carats.

This is a very special, unique diamond. We've built our finest ring for it.

Before

After

It took many years to get our rings to the point they are today. Search the very finest stores, and you will others who produce a product which is as good as ours- but I do not believe anyone makes a better ring

This is not our lowest profile design- the stones sit up a little bit- the stones are perfectly positioned, and comfortable for every day wear.

A large part of designing rings ( in my opinion) has to do with respecting the shapes of the stones when choosing how to set them.

QUESTIONS WE ASK WHEN DESIGNING YOUR RING

What shape and size side stones look best with the center diamond? The center diamond drives our entire ring project. I could not really imagine building "semi mount" rings without using the center diamond as a guide. As you can see in the "before and after" photos above, we use the center to pick the side stones

Do the stones look best in a square shank? The shank is the part of the ring that wraps around your finger. We usually like to use a softer shaped shank- square seems to look too mechanical.

How many prongs will both look good, and safely hold the diamonds? While we're at it, what shape and thickness of those prongs look best considering the shape and color of the diamonds.

Answering these, and other vital questions correctly are what make our rings what they are. Looking at a lot of the jewelry you see being offered, you realize: A lot of manufacturers never even ask these questions
